More on Blogs and Wikis in SharePoint

I guess I've become the blog and wiki expert at KMA.  Mike Gilronan, our Director of Business Development, emailed me with a link to a Microsoft White Paper titled, "Using Blogs and Wikis in Business."  This paper is a good non-technical introduction to how internal and external wikis and blogs can be implemented in SharePoint.  I would highly recommend it for non-technical managers whose organizations might benefit from improved knowledge sharing.  The paper discusses how wikis and blogs can be used in mission-critical roles (see my previous blog entry) like customer support and research.  It also presents a high-level view of how these collaborative technologies can be implemented in SharePoint and how they can be integrated with other Microsoft tools and technologies like Office for generating content and Active Directory for managing access rights.
